"Auvergne" (1987)
A small canvas offering an image of the Massif Central in the Auvergne, France.
This is a very early college piece which, whilst sombre and perhaps a little unsure, is included largely to reflect the development of Bunn's later canvases.
Geoff Bunn himself now lives in France, in the neighbouring Limousin region, and he confesses to have drawn inspiration from the rugged Massif in a number of his own works.
